NAJR CHAMPIONSHIP (LIGIER JFC)
The beginner step of the NA Formula Ladder, North America’s premier formula development ladder, the NAJr Championship provides the foundation for a successful career in motorsports. With the ladder designed for young drivers transitioning from karting to formula car racing, drivers learn the fundamentals of open-wheel racing, develop car control and racecraft, and gain valuable experience in a competitive environment. With an emphasis on building confidence, mastering the basics and establishing strong driving habits, NAJr prepares the next generation of racers to progress to the NA4 Championship and beyond. With the Champion’s Scholarship covering a car and engine lease, race tires and season race entry fees at the next level, the NAJr Champion earns an opportunity to take the next step in their racing career.
- 14 Rounds across 5 race weekends.
- Ligier JS F4 (1st Generation Ligier JS F4 car).
- Hankook Tires (2 sets allowed per weekend).
- Minimum age 14 years old*
* Possible exceptions based on experience at the discretion of the race director.
2028 NA4 Scholarship for the championship-winning driver from Ligier Automotive, Hankook Tire & Technology and Racing America, which includes:
- Lease of a Ligier JS F422 (NA4 car) chassis and engine from Ligier Automotive
- Two sets of tires per event from Hankook Tire & Technology
- Race entry fees from Racing America
